The following are some important items and dates to remember. Each announcement is tagged with a program to help our members know which items are most important to them.
- FALL: #tangsoo Fall season class plans have been posted in Band.
- Nov #kigong Virginia classes with Mrs. Ekmark continue on Mondays from 11am-12 noon at the Olcott Park Greenhouse.
- Nov #kigong Chisholm classes with Mrs. Wickstrom will continue at the park behind the Chisholm Police Department (or Faith Lutheran Church with bad weather).
- Nov 11 #tangsoo Intent to Test forms are due for your next color belt rank test. You will find the link to the online form as a notice in the Tang Soo Do Band.
- Nov 11 #haidong Intent to Test forms are due for your next color belt rank test. You will find the link to the online form as a notice in the Haidong Gumdo Band.
- Nov 11 #tigers Testing night for Tiny Tigers
- Nov 15-17 #tangsoo Color belt sparring testing will be held during normal class times. Have your gear and be ready on time!
- Nov 18 #tigers Tiny Tiger season last session - promotion night.
- Nov 22 #tangsoo #haidong Open enrollment begins for Winter season.
- Nov 22-24 #tangsoo Color belt curriculum testing will be held during normal class times for those that submitted their intent to test forms & first-time testers. As usual, it will be fast-paced and done over both days. Plan to be present for these classes if possible to be tested on all parts for promotion.
- Nov 22-24 #haidong Color belt rank testing will be happening during normal class times for those that submitted their intent to test forms & first-time testers.
- Nov 29 #tangsoo New belts will be awarded at the beginning of each class.
- Dec 1 #tangsoo Our Winter season begins.
- Dec 30 #tigers Winter season for Tiny Tigers begins.
Students and parents: Don't forget to get into the appropriate BAND for the program(s) you are part of. This is our preferred way to stay in touch with instructors, get important announcements, and even share pictures and videos from class and events. There are often posts found in BAND that are not anywhere else in our communications (class sign-ups, additional class information). It is also where you will learn when classes have been canceled! If you have problems getting into Band, talk to an instructor.
