Hello students and parents! Fall season is approaching the end! Students have a lot of additional things going on in their lives with school activities and responsibilities. Having a consistent schedule during the week is important to promote success, shape habits, and practice self-discipline. As you practice at home, inspect your goals and review your progress daily. A routine to support learning, retention, and performance is essential for all.
The following are some important dates to remember. Each announcement is tagged with a program to help our members know which items are most important to them. Don't forget to check our Class Schedule as well as the whiteboards in the school for class plans, announcements, and schedules.
Encourage your student(s) to know dates important to them so they are able to set goals appropriate to their progress.
- Nov #kigong Chisholm classes with Mrs. Wickstrom will continue via Zoom Tuesdays and Saturdays at 9:00am. Contact her for the Zoom invite.
- Nov #kigong Palo classes with Mr. Wilkes will continue at the Loon Lake Community Center on Thursdays at 10:00am. Contact him for more information.
- Oct 31 #tangsoo #haidong No classes for Halloween. We will be decorating and passing out candy and have a some activities and games available at the school starting about 3:30pm. Costumes are encouraged! The mall will be having their annual event going on at the same time, so be sure to walk the hallway and visit the other businesses within.

- Nov 20 #tigers #tangsoo TSD & Tiny Tiger Promotions. Promotions start at 4:30p and generally last about an hour. Students that passed exam will be awarded belts and all students present will have an opportunity to do board breaking. All participants should be in their full official uniform (white pants) - clean and pressed.

- Nov 23 #tangsoo Black Belt pretest is scheduled starting at 9:00am and is expected to and around 11:30am. This is a time for Mr K to review where all blue belt and black belt ranks are in preparation for eligibility of a spring cycle test. Red belt and higher ranks are welcome to participate. Those curious about the process are welcome to come observe. Anyone hoping to test during the spring event must be participate to get feedback and be eligible for testing.
- Nov 25 #tangsoo #haidong Winter season begins! There is a slight change in our schedule for this season. The Tang Soo Do Youth class that is normally held on Thursdays @ 5pm will not be in session until December 26th. Please be sure to note this change and adjust schedules accordingly.

If you have not downloaded the Spark Member app, please do so. Important announcements will be sent through the app and email. Students are able to check into classes from the app upon arrival, and memberships and payments can be managed directly there. In addition, students should be able to access curriculum items (documents and videos) in the app. If you have questions or are having trouble getting logged in or cannot access things you believe you should, check with Mr. Koivisto.
