In 2010, I enrolled my son, Quin, in classes at Range Martial Arts when he was four in a half years old. One year later, his father, Mr. Bennett, joined him and signed up for the classes. For the next 3 years, I was asked daily by both to join classes with them. Finally, in 2014 I signed up for my first class and have been training with my family ever since! Four years later I recieved my 1st degree black belt, and a year after that, I recieved my instructor certification.
I currently lead the Tiny Tiger program at our school for ages 4-6. I believe that starting martial arts as a child not only builds physical strength and coordination; but it instills respect, obedience, and self control.
I believe that doing martial arts as a family activity is the best way to go! It truly is for everyone! Training with my family has brought us all closer together. We have made wonderful memories, and continue to do so. Martial arts was something I never thought of doing but now continue to practice every day of my life.
